Philip Martin Cora Systems CEO

Philip Martin


Philip worked for a decade in engineering and management roles, primarily for the telecommunications industry, before founding Cora in 1999. Drawing on 30 years’ experience in the portfolio and project management industry, he has built a global client base across Ireland, the UK, Europe and USA. He previously held positions with major US multinationals, including 3Com, Tellabs, DSC and Pulse Engineering. Philip is an electronic systems engineering graduate of Ulster University. In his spare time, Philip enjoys a game of Golf, Roscommon Gaelic Games and basically anything with a ball. His family is important to him and spending time with them is second to none for him.

Pat Henry


Pat helps to shape the direction of Cora’s award-winning solutions. He has previously worked for Brother Industries, 3Com, Tellabs, DSC Communications and Alcatel. Pat is responsible for Cora’s technical vision and in leading all aspects of technology development. Pat is a graduate of Dublin City University, Dundalk Institute of Technology, and Sligo Institute of Technology. When not working, Pat enjoys following Mayo in their quest for All-Ireland Gaelic football glory. He also reads both novels and non-fiction books as a break from technology.
Sarah Sweeney CFO Cora Systems Leadership

Sarah Sweeney


Sarah is a chartered accountant who trained with KPMG and is a science graduate of University College Cork. She previously spent over 10 years with Petroceltic International plc where she held several senior roles, including CFO, Group Financial Controller and Investor Relations Officer. She was subsequently CFO of Oasis Group during its private equity sale in 2017. Sarah has been involved in the exponential growth of companies and is experienced in raising equity and debt finance. Sarah joined Cora in 2017 and is responsible for the strategic financial direction of the business. In her free time, Sarah enjoys sailing and family outings on the River Shannon.

Susanne Kerins

Head of Marketing

Susanne has been with Cora since April 2017. A graduate of the MSc. in Marketing from Institute of Technology, Sligo, Susanne is known for her innovative thinking and her unique mix of strategic, creative and technical capabilities. Over the years, she has created content, managed events, driven social media strategies, shaped brand architectures and built online/offline communities for a range of organizations in the technology, engineering and third-level education sectors. Outside of work, you’ll usually find her showjumping, in the gym or on Instagram.

Derry Lynch

Head of Customer Success Team

Derry has been with Cora for over a decade and worked on multiple implementations of the Cora solution across all industry verticals. He has held several senior roles in the company – including Professional Services Manager; Account Services Manager; Head of Client Delivery and Head of the Solutions Engagement Team – before assuming his current role. Previously, Derry worked with global software firm FINEOS as Head of Training and in the business consulting and support teams, as well in the banking sector with Permanent TSB and Irish Life. Derry graduated with a Business Studies Degree from Institute of Technology, Sligo. A keen armchair follower of all sports, he’ll most likely be seen supporting the Irish Rugby Team and Liverpool, for his sins.

Lydia Quan

VP Client Engagement, North America

Lydia brings significant experience of high-tech sales to Cora Systems. Lydia has been in the PPM industry supporting new business development and existing customers relationships for seven years. During previous employment, she helped the company become a leading player in the PPM space in North America, growing sales, including the capture of the company’s largest client, managing customer relationships and overseeing a vast team of sales executives. Prior to software sales, Lydia’s primary background consisted of both clinical and non-clinical healthcare positions with the change in career path as a result of her passion for both sales and project management. Outside of work she enjoys spending time traveling, hosting gatherings and attending sporting events with family, friends and her dogs.

Paul Rees

Head of Client Services

Paul has over 18 years of experience in the deployment of enterprise project control solutions for owners, operators and delivery organisations across both the public and private sectors.  He has also gained significant experience in mobilising digital PPM solutions for major programmes in the UK including High Speed 2, Crossrail and Thames Tideway Tunnels. Paul has been with Cora since 2016 and prior to his current role he headed up our UK operations, overseeing both existing accounts as well as new business development. Prior to joining Cora, Paul worked for CH2M HILL’s technology division and a number of consultancies focused on the implementation of project control applications globally.

He is a science graduate of University of Wales, Bangor. Outside work Paul enjoys spending time with his family as well as regularly playing rugby, although retirement will surely be calling soon.

Nick Hall Cora Systems Leadership

Nick Hall

Product Owner

Nick is one of the key members of Cora’s management team. Prior to becoming Product Owner, he was head of the Delivery Team and has managed a number of customer implementations. Nick has a strong technical background in IT in development, design and delivery roles. Previous to Cora, he was responsible for Process Improvement and System Design in Aviva’s European Centre of Excellence, more recently working in Egenera, designing and delivering software to manage cloud-based IT environments. He holds a diploma in Strategic Management from the Irish Management Institute as well as a postgraduate diploma (distinction) in Java, Cloud Computing and Android. In his spare time, his interests include gardening and travel.

James Deane

Ireland Country Manager

James has been with Cora for over 9 years and held a variation of roles throughout that time across consulting, solutions, business development and key account management. He currently heads up our Irish operations overseeing business development and account management within our home market. James’ approach involves a strong solution focus for clients, helping them to achieve best practice, end to end, PPM processes. Over his time with Cora, James has supported the establishment of our UK office, helped to forge our current strategic relationship with PwC and has been responsible for onboarding and supporting 35+ clients.

James holds a Bachelors and Masters Degree of Commerce from the National University of Ireland, Galway. In his spare time, he is a keen follower of sports particularly GAA, soccer and rugby. He’s also known to hit a golf ball, and do statistical and video analysis for GAA teams.

Paul Comerton

Head of Quality Assurance

Paul’s background is as a senior test engineer with a demonstrated history of working in the computer software industry. He has vast experience in several areas of the sector, including test analysis and design, test automation, test management aligned with agile methodologies. He has particular experience developing automated tests using Selenium and C#. He graduated from Dublin Institute of Technology with a postgraduate degree in Applied Computing and has also acquired ISTQB certification. Outside of work he enjoys playing soccer regularly, cycling, hiking and playing the guitar badly.
