Our executive management team are drawn from a range of blue-chip companies with a deep understanding of the nuances of project management, consulting and software. The leadership and commitment to innovation of this team is what drives our company and is integral to fulfilling Cora’s vision.

Philip Martin


Philip Martin Cora SystemsPhilip worked for a decade in engineering and management roles, primarily for the telecom industry, before founding Cora in 1999. Drawing on 30+ years of experience in the portfolio and project management industry, he has built our global client base across Ireland, the UK, Europe, and the USA. He previously held positions with major US multinationals, including 3Com, Tellabs, DSC, and Pulse Engineering. Philip is an electronic system engineering graduate of Ulster University. In his spare time, Philip enjoys a game of golf, Gaelic games, especially Roscommon’s matches, and basically anything with a ball. His family is important to him and spending time with them is second to none for him.

Pat Henry


Pat HenryPat helps to shape the direction of Cora’s award-winning solutions. Previously, he worked for Brother Industries, 3Com, Tellabs, DSC Communications, and Alcatel. Pat is responsible for our technical vision and for leading all aspects of technology development. Pat is a graduate of Dublin City University, Dundalk Institute of Technology, and Sligo Institute of Technology. When not working, Pat enjoys following Mayo in their quest for All-Ireland Gaelic football glory. He also reads novels and non-fiction books when not immersed in technology ideas.

Ron Mechling


Ron Mechling Ron is responsible for Cora’s scaling and growth story, as he oversees our sales, marketing and customer success teams. He has over 15 years experience in the PPM sector. Prior to joining Cora, Ron spent five years at Oracle NetSuite leading its global Professional Services Automation Sales team. Before NetSuite, Ron held roles as VP of Strategy at PGi, GM for Changepoint EMEA & LATAM, Global VP of Sales Operations at Upland and multiple start-ups with successful exits. In his spare time, Ron enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, practicing karate, playing golf and enjoying lake life. He also admits to being a Tottenham Hotspur football fan.

John Fitzgerald


John Fitzgerald

As the company’s CFO, John manages Cora’s finance and investment strategy. He brings vast experience in growth management, strategic business planning, and institutional investor relationship management. Before joining Cora’s team, John was Group CFO at Smartfrog & Canary Holdings Inc., a global SaaS business, where he grew their revenues significantly, completing a number of acquisitions as well as raising several rounds of funding. Previously, John was VP of Finance & Analytics with CleverCards for almost five years. In his earlier career, he held accounting roles in banking in Ireland and Australia. He is a CPA and holds an MBA from Trinity College Dublin.

Karl Reilly

Head of Design and Innovation

Karl Reilly Cora SystemsKarl leads the R&D team through the development of new SPM software, developing the functionality of program & portfolio management capabilities – introducing AI and machine learning functionality – to our products and introducing a greater focus on the user experience. He brings over 30 years of PPM experience from the public and private sectors, delivering change and business transformation programmes. Prior to joining Cora, Karl worked with PwC as their Global Lead for PPM Methods & Tools.
Away from work, Karl spectates and competes in motorsports and spends time keeping his classic cars on the road.

Susanne Kerins

Head of Marketing

Susanne Kerins Cora SystemsSusanne has been with Cora since 2017. A graduate of the MSc. in Marketing degree from the Institute of Technology, Sligo, Susanne is known for her innovative thinking and her unique mix of strategic, creative, and technical capabilities. Over the years, she has created content, managed events, driven social media strategies, shaped brand architectures, and built online/offline communities for a range of organizations in the technology, engineering, and third-level education sectors. Outside of work, you’ll usually find her show jumping, in the gym, or on Instagram.

Derry Lynch

Head of Customer Success

Derry Lynch Cora SystemsDerry has been with Cora for over a decade and has worked on multiple implementations of our solution across all industry verticals. He has held several senior roles in the company – including professional services manager; account services manager; head of client delivery and head of the solutions engagement team – before assuming his current role. Previously, Derry worked with global software firm FINEOS as head of training and in business consulting and support teams, as well in the banking sector with Permanent TSB and Irish Life. Derry graduated with a business studies degree from the Institute of Technology, Sligo. A keen fan of sports, he’ll most likely be seen supporting the Irish rugby team and Liverpool, for his sins.

Paul Rees

Head of Client Services

Paul has 20 years of experience in deploying enterprise project control solutions for owners, operators, and delivery organizations across public and private sectors. He has also gained significant experience in mobilizing digital PPM solutions for major programs in the UK, including High Speed 2, Crossrail, and Thames Tideway Tunnels. Paul has been with Cora since 2016 and prior to his current role, he headed up our UK operations, overseeing both existing accounts as well as new business development. Prior to joining Cora, Paul worked for CH2M HILL’s technology division and a number of consultancies focused on the implementation of project control applications globally. He is a science graduate of the University of Wales, Bangor. Outside work, Paul enjoys spending time with his family as well as playing rugby, although retirement will surely be calling soon.

Lydia Quan

VP Client Engagement, North America

Lydia Quan Cora SystemsLydia brings significant experience in high-tech sales to Cora. She has been in the PPM industry supporting new business development and existing customers relationships for several years. During previous employment, she helped her company become a leading player in the PPM space in North America, growing sales, including the capture of the company’s largest client, managing customer relationships, and overseeing a vast team of sales executives. Prior to software sales, Lydia’s primary background consisted of both clinical and non-clinical healthcare positions with the change in her career path coming as a result of her passion for both sales and project management. Outside of work she enjoys spending time traveling, hosting gatherings, and attending sporting events with family, friends, and her dogs.

Nick Hall

Product Owner - Cora PPM

Nick is one of the key members of Cora’s management team. Prior to becoming product owner, he was head of our delivery team and has managed a number of customer implementations. Nick has a strong technical background in IT in development, design, and delivery roles. Previous to Cora, he was responsible for process improvement and system design in Aviva’s European centre of excellence, more recently working in Egenera, designing and delivering software to manage cloud-based IT environments. He holds a diploma in strategic management from the Irish Management Institute as well as holding a postgraduate diploma (distinction) in Java, cloud computing, and Android. In his spare time, his interests include gardening and travel.

Paul Comerton

Head of Engineering

Paul Comerton Cora SystemsPaul’s background is as a senior test engineer with a demonstrated history of working in the computer software industry. He has vast experience in several areas of the sector, including test analysis and design, test automation, test management aligned with agile methodologies. He has particular experience developing automated tests using Selenium and C#. He graduated from the Dublin Institute of Technology with a postgraduate degree in Applied Computing and has also acquired ISTQB certification.

Outside of work he enjoys playing soccer regularly, cycling, hiking, and playing the guitar badly.
