Cora Systems Wins CIPD “Workplace Wellbeing” 2021 Award

Cora Systems, a leading provider of enterprise project and portfolio management solutions, was named as the recipient of the “Embedding a Culture of Workplace Wellbeing” Award (SME category) at this year’s prestigious CIPD Ireland human resources awards. The prize winners were revealed during a digital ceremony

Introduction

CIPD is the professional body that represents the HR industry in Ireland. Cora Systems came out on top following a competitive, two-round judging process overseen by Professor Bill Roche, Full Professor of Industrial Relations and Human Resources, School of Business, UCD.

The judging panel noted that Cora Systems’ Wellness Team took a “purposeful and focused” approach to implementing their wellness culture, adding that the team was “deliberate and intentional in doing something that mattered to staff”. They also remarked that there was a very clear link between wellbeing and the customer impact within Cora Systems.

Speaking following the announcement, Vincent Reynolds, Head of HR, Cora Systems, said: “It is a great validation of the steps we are taking to create wellbeing in our company, especially in light of the tough year we have all just come through due to Covid-19. We had been doing wellbeing informally before, but now we approach it in a more structured manner. CIPD Ireland’s recognition of our efforts will spur us on to an even greater focus on workplace wellbeing for the future.”
