Earned Value Management

Earned value as a by-product of the work, not a monthly exercise.

Cost and schedule performance produced from live data, using industry-standard earned value techniques, in a form that survives your customer's own review. Built for government contractors, aerospace and defense programs, and complex capital projects.

Earned value: SPI 1.02, CPI 0.97 and EAC 44.5M, with a cumulative cost chart of planned value, earned value and actual cost, and a noticed CPI drop awaiting approval

With antaivo intelligence

Earned value, calculated by the rules, every time

antaivo calculates schedule, cost and performance the same way every time, in its deterministic calculation engine, never in the AI model. When CPI or SPI starts to slip, antaivo flags it with the cause attached and drafts a corrective action for a named person to approve, so variances are explained before your customer asks.

Capabilities

Enterprise Platform

EVM is embedded in every project process, not bolted on. Combined with scheduling, financials and resources on one data model, it produces fact-based forecasts governed by industry-standard methods, and one objective source of truth for cost and schedule performance.

Integrated Cost and Schedule

Program and control account managers get one workbench for scheduling and cost. Track actual costs against budget and plan in real time, improve forecasting, and strengthen compliance with government contracting requirements.

Earned Value Techniques (EVT)

Supports all earned value techniques in the DoD Earned Value Management System Interpretation Guide (EVMSIG) and the NDIA EIA-748-D Intent Guide, with structured methods for measuring and reporting earned value aligned with DCMA standards.

Earned Value % Complete (EV%)

antaivo calculates EV% using industry-standard techniques, applies the right rules automatically, and shows it directly in the Gantt, so progress is tracked accurately and reporting holds up to scrutiny.

Estimate at Completion (EAC)

ERP financial data flows into one real-time view of budgets, forecasts and EACs. Risk and uncertainty factor into cost projections, giving large programs an accurate, current picture of where costs are heading.

Baseline Change Control

Model and assess changes before they're approved, with EVM-compliant baseline change control. See the impact on schedule, cost and resources first, then integrate approved changes into the live project.

Additional Capabilities

Variance Reporting

Identify and analyze schedule variance (SV), cost variance (CV) and variance at completion (VAC), with the cause attached. Take corrective action early and stay aligned with EVM best practice and contractual obligations.

DCMA 14-Point Health Check

Run the DCMA 14-point schedule health check directly against the Gantt schedule. Results are logged automatically on a dedicated DCMA audit page, strengthening schedule integrity and reporting accuracy.

Alternative Hierarchies

Connect program structures to the work breakdown structure, with reporting on WBS dictionary structures, MIL-STD-881 appendices, contract obligations and performance, so every report lines up with contractual and financial requirements.

Reduce Deviation on OpEx and Large CapEx Projects

Prevent cost and schedule overruns. Monitor the gap between planned and actual cost with a complete set of EVM tools, and see overruns coming before they land.

Is your Portfolio Risk Strategy Keeping Pace with AI?

Gartner® latest research looks at how AI is reshaping the way organizations sense, forecast and respond to portfolio risk — shifting teams from reactive reporting to earlier, more confident decisions.

“Modern portfolio risk can no longer be effectively managed through periodic reviews and static risk registers.”
