Media Release: Cora Wins 2018 Technology Exporter of the Year Award

Media Release: DUBLIN, IRELAND — (November 20, 2018):

Cora Systems, a leading provider of enterprise project and portfolio management solutions, announces today that it has won the “Technology Exporter of the Year” award at the 2018 Export Industry Awards.

The Industry Export Awards judging panel, which included Science Foundation Ireland’s Aisling McEvoy and Pat Higgins from the culinary food company, Queally Group, commended Cora Systems for several key attributes. The judges were particularly impressed by the performance of Cora Systems in a competitive sector and their recent product transformation program, which resulted in a September 2018 launch of their new project and portfolio solution, Cora PPM, and in how, for example, Cora PPM has helped the global consultancy firm PwC to digitize its entire project lifecycle.

In the words of one of the judges: “The company is a great example of how a company based in a small town in the northwest of Ireland competes against some of the largest software companies in the world.” Finally, the judges were impressed by Cora Systems’ ability to engage with its customer base and their committed workforce.

This is the 18th year of the annual exporter awards program, which is organized by the Irish Exporters Association (IEA). It rewards exceptional Irish-based exporters and was hosted on the night by the impressionist Mario Rosenstock. The award winners – which included 11 categories – were announced at a gala dinner and ceremony on Friday, 16 November 2018 at The Clayton Hotel Burlington Road, Dublin. Cora Systems was shortlisted alongside three other companies in its category: Aalto Bio Reagents, Compliance & Risks, and SilverCloud Heath.

“This is a huge honor to win such a coveted award. It caps a record year for the company in terms of growth and additions to our customer base, and is an endorsement in the investment we’ve made in our product, which helps global companies like Honeywell and the UK’s health service to run their transformation programs. Most of our business is overseas so it’s lovely to get an award like this for our staff. It shows we can compete and win all over the world – and get recognition for it – from our base here in Carrick-on-Shannon,” said Philip Martin, CEO, Cora Systems.
