Cora Shortlisted for Two Technology Ireland Software Awards

Media Release: DUBLIN, IRELAND — (21 October, 2019):

Cora Systems, a leading provider of enterprise project and portfolio management solutions, announces today that it has been shortlisted for the 2019 Technology Ireland Software Awards in two categories – “Company of the Year” and “Digital Technology Services Project of the Year”.

Cora Systems has been nominated alongside Dublin-based Keywords Studios, claims management software provider FINEOS Corporation, fintech company Fenergo and software services company Sidero for the prestigious IT “Company of the Year” award.

In the “Digital Technology Services Project of the Year” category, Cora Systems has been shortlisted for an implementation with WSP. The global engineering firm WSP has been appointed to oversee a £1.5bn program of critical works at the UK’s House of Parliament, in the heart of London, which is being managed within Cora PPM. The program will take 10 years to complete.

WSP’s entire supply chain, from client down to the specialist partners, has to be managed for each project – at any one time. WSP needs to know its overall program is on track from a cost, schedule and quality perspective. Cora PPM provides that insight. Cora Systems is shortlisted alongside Singlepoint, Openet Telecom Limited, Marino Software and TEKenable Ltd.

This is the 27th year of the Technology Ireland Software Awards. Over 80 technology companies and organisations from across Ireland entered this year. Sponsors include EY Ireland, Bank of Ireland, Workhuman and Enterprise Ireland. The winners will be announced at the annual awards event on Friday, 22 November in the Mansion House, Dublin.

Director of Technology Ireland Una Fitzpatrick said: “The Technology Ireland Industry awards reflect the growing technology sector in Ireland, which continues to go from strength to strength each year. Looking at this year’s awards entrants we can see the depth of quality and talent making this happen. More than 80 organisations from across Ireland entered this year’s awards and it is the tireless efforts of all in these companies and beyond that have positioned Ireland into a global technology powerhouse. We, alongside our sponsors, look forward to announcing the overall winners on November 22”.

Philip Martin, CEO, Cora Systems said: “It’s very satisfying to be nominated in two categories for this year’s Technology Ireland awards. We’ve made tremendous strides as a company over the last couple of years because of the R&D investment in our product. Our implementation with WSP on the refurbishment of government buildings in Westminster, London is just one of several fascinating programs we’re working on at the moment.”
