Media Release: Dublin, Ireland – 30th September 2019
Cora Systems, a leading provider of enterprise project and portfolio management solutions, have been shortlisted for “Impact in Business IT & Technology” Award at the 2019 Irish CX Impact Awards.
This is the second year of the CX Awards, which reward excellence in customer experience (CX) in the software industry. Financial services providers, government departments, utility companies, airport authorities, theatre companies and software providers, amongst other organizations from across Ireland, entered this year’s awards. The winners will be revealed at a black-tie gala awards ceremony on Thursday, November 7th, at Croke Park, Dublin.
Cora Systems has been shortlisted with two other contenders; Standard Life (Assurance) and IT Services provider, Version 1 – in its category, Impact in Business IT & Technology, which is one of several group and individual award categories.
Cora Systems has been nominated for creating a new user interface – with a strong emphasis on customer experience – and adding significant functionality to its product, Cora PPM. The company invested €3 million into its new functionally rich product, which took 18 months to roll out. Compared to its predecessor 75+ features were redesigned for an improved CX experience; there were 300+ individual pages and screen changes; 500+ user stories in the team backlog; 8 new features were all added to the new platform and new features have been rolled out on a regular basis since. As a result of the innovation, and its launch in September 2018, the take-up on the product has had an immediate and profound impact on the company’s bottom line, resulting in several recurring quarters of profit.
Philip Martin, CEO, Cora Systems said:
“This nomination is testament to the value of creating a good user experience when designing a software solution. In our game, it’s essential that senior management and program directors can dive in quickly to complex project and portfolio information and extract what they need. That can only be achieved with an intelligent, intuitive user interface, which is what we have now with Cora PPM. It’s due to the energy and ideas of our CTO and his design team.”
