PM Summit 2016

The PM Summit was established in 2015 for the purpose of providing a forum for project and program management professionals to share their experiences, develop relationships and exchange knowledge. This year marks the second annual PM Summit to be held in Ireland.

With over 20 top performing global project management experts presenting at the 2016 PM Summit, a truly international perspective to the discipline is expected. The event is unique in that it is not aligned to any one PM institution but has representation from many institutions, such as the PMI, APM and IPMI.

The PM Summit caters for a diverse range of Project Management professionals from all sectors of business and vertical markets. Whether your project is constructing a new plant, developing a new drug for a pharmaceutical company or even rolling out a new enterprise system within an organization, you will benefit from professional insights and exchange of ideas as you attend presentations and workshops, and network with seasoned professionals.

The collective experience of the presenters alone is in excess of 400 years but when you add that with the combined experience of the delegates you will be in a room with over 6,000 years of Project Management experience. Never before has such an event taken place with so many institutions, industries and project managers being represented.

In addition to the many excellent presenters, there will be a number of high-profile PPM Exhibitors demonstrating their products throughout the day.

According to the PMI:

Between 2010 and 2020, 15.7 million new project management roles will be created globally, and the project management industry is slated to grow by $6.61 trillion.
An expected 12% growth in demand for project management professionals will result in almost 6.2 million jobs by 2020.

Business Services (2 million jobs) and Manufacturing (630,000 jobs) supported the greatest number of project management roles in 2010. Business Services and Healthcare are expected to lead job growth between 2010 and 2020.
The Healthcare industry is projected to increase project management roles by 30% — a higher growth rate than any current project intensive industry.

Project Management is at the centre of all business, and successful execution and delivery of projects has become the cornerstone of every industry, as companies strive to improve the way they manage their organisations. The PM Summit will provide you with the knowledge, expertise and business relationships that will help develop your career. Don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity to take part in the most important project management event in the yearly calendar.
