Media Release: Huge Migration of Customers to Cora PPM Platform

Media Release: Dublin, Ireland – 22 November 2018:

Overview

Cora Systems, a leading provider of enterprise portfolio and project management solutions, has announced that a raft of its clients have decided to migrate to its new “Cora PPM” platform.

These include City of London, the UK’s Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS), Elanco, Ireland’s Health Service Executive, Ipsen, NHS Digital, Teleflex Medical, and Tusla – Child and Family Agency.

Cora Systems has invested significantly in product R&D. Over the last 18 months, the company has spent over €3 million on its new Cora PPM solution. It publicly launched Cora PPM at an event for its customers and prospects at Dublin’s iconic Guinness Storehouse, September 20th, 2018.

The enriched product functionality in the new Cora PPM platform includes Mobile apps for Android and iOS that lets project managers and senior management access and update key project activity from anywhere; new, improved role-based dashboards that are visual in nature, which makes it easy for management to quickly decipher complex project and portfolio data; as well as a new progress module, which transforms the platform’s reporting capability.

Justin Leese, Program Director, Local Full Fibre Networks, DCMS said: “We are happily using Cora PPM to manage the portfolio of projects that make up our £1.7bn Superfast Program and £294m Local Full Fibre Networks Program. It works well at a low level for project planning, risk and issues, change logs, benefits tracking, weekly reports, etc. Then the PMO can roll up and summarize that low-level data into a program/portfolio view. Cloud-based so pretty quick to get going too.”

Joe Flynn, Senior Director – Client Engagement, Cora Systems said: “We’ve seen remarkably rapid take-up of the new Cora PPM platform, which is a great reward for almost two years of blood, sweat and tears from the R&D team. They’ve been heroic. What we’re hearing back time and again from customers is that they love the added functionality – the strong financial management of programs and projects, the powerful workflow engine, including Submittals and Transmittals, the improved executive-level dashboards, the new document management capabilities, the mobile app, to name a few. For us at Cora, we now know we have a solution that’s fit for purpose, which is easy to build on. We’ve the right platform bed in place for the next five years. These are exciting times for Cora.”
