DUBLIN, IRELAND — (4 January 2021):
Cora Systems, a leading provider of enterprise project and portfolio management solutions, is delighted to have been shortlisted in the remote working and wellbeing categories of the 2021 CIPD Ireland HR Awards.
CIPD is the professional body that represents the human resources industry in Ireland. Its awards evaluation involves a two-round judging process overseen by Professor Bill Roche, Full Professor of Industrial Relations and Human Resources at the School of Business, University College Dublin. Winners will be announced at the CIPD Ireland HR Awards ceremony on February 25th.
Cora Systems has been shortlisted in the “embedding a culture of workplace well-being” category as well as a new “flexible and remote working” category, which has been created to specifically reward agility and adaptability in response to the Covid-19 pandemic. There are 10 award categories in total.
Some of the initiatives supporting Cora Systems’ applications included a program of activities under its wellness program; the formation of a wellness team to specifically support staff during the Covid-19 experience; the company’s communication strategy; a focus on wellbeing via ergonomic assessments; and the introduction of an innovative “regeneration days” annual leave system.
Philip Martin, CEO, Cora Systems, said:
“We’re delighted to be recognized by CIPD Ireland for the efforts we’ve put into strengthening the human-resources part of our company. We’ve made huge strides in this area over the last 18 months. Kudos in particular is due to Vincent Reynolds for the energy and imaginative ideas he brings to the company. Staff can see the impact he has made, and, especially with the challenges of remote working in a Covid-19 world, we’ve reaped the benefits.”
