Cora PPM chosen to digitize PwC PPM Operation

Dublin, Ireland – 30 October 2018:

Cora Systems, a leading provider of enterprise portfolio and project management solutions, has announced that PwC has adopted its new Cora PPM solution, which was released to the market in September, to digitize the PwC PPM Operation and enhance their Digital PPM solutions for the marketplace.

PwC is using the Cora PPM platform for several key functions. These include Cora Forms to help turn free-format text into structured, reportable data; Cora Registers, which has customizable logs for managing actions, lessons learned and decisions, powered by a workflow engine for helping to author and approve project data. A suite of dashboards at user, project, programme, portfolio, and strategic levels provide insight to key stakeholders. PwC are using the platform internally and to support engagements in the Government, Nuclear and Private Sectors.

Cora Systems has invested significantly in product R&D. Over the last 18 months, the company has spent over €3 million on the new Cora PPM platform. It publicly launched Cora PPM at an event for its customers and prospects at Dublin’s iconic Guinness Storehouse on September 20, 2018.

PwC was one of the beta clients of the new Cora PPM platform, and since go-live, the global consultancy firm uses Cora PPM to manage and control all aspects of PMO delivery. Cora Systems has also inked a global partnership agreement with PwC, a deal that was finalised in early 2018 after two years of assessment, which is testament to the strength of the Cora PPM platform.

Sandie Grimshaw, Partner, PwC said: “One of the reasons PwC got involved with Cora in the first place is because we really liked the journey that Cora had been on. We liked the product, where it was at and we absolutely liked it in comparison with a lot of the competitor products.”

Joe Flynn, Senior Director – Client Engagement, Cora Systems said: “It’s vital for Cora to have PwC on board. They looked hard at our solution – and competitor products – and went with us because they liked our corporate culture and our depth of product functionality. The new Cora PPM platform with all its rich features and functions – the mobile app, the workflow, the greater visibility, to name a few – is the bedrock for digitising their whole portfolio and project operation. It’s a fantastic reference site for us.”
