Media Release: Cora Shortlisted for 2019 Tech Excellence Awards

DUBLIN, IRELAND — (April 30, 2019):

Overview

Cora Systems, a leading provider of enterprise project and portfolio management solutions, announces today that it has been shortlisted for the “Company of the Year” award for the 2019 Tech Excellence Awards.

This is the 19th year of the annual Tech Excellence Awards, which reward excellence in the Irish software industry. Technology companies and organizations from across Ireland entered this year’s awards. Previous award winners include ICON and CMS Distribution.

The award winners will be announced at a gala dinner and ceremony on Thursday, 23 May in the Main Ballroom of Dublin’s 4-star Citywest Hotel. Cora Systems has been shortlisted with several other companies in its category, including ESRI, Trilogy Technologies and Viatel.  The host for the evening is the broadcaster Sarah McInerney.

Cora Systems has been nominated for achieving a significant spike in business, owing to the launch of its new product Cora PPM in September 2018. Within three months of the launch, for example, the following clients had contracted to migrate to Cora PPM: City of London, the UK’s Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS), Elanco, Ireland’s Health Service Executive, Ipsen, NHS Digital, Teleflex Medical, and Tusla – Child and Family Agency. In addition, the following new customers adopted Cora PPM by Christmas 2018: CityFibre, Eldorado Gold, eSure, Ipswich and East Suffolk CCG, Limerick City and Council, NHS Business Services Authority, Ireland’s Road Safety Authority, PwC and WSP.

Philip Martin, CEO, Cora Systems said: “We’re delighted to get shortlisted at this year’s Tech Excellence Awards, especially as it’s in the prestigious ‘company of the year’ category. It endorses the work we’ve done on our new Cora PPM product, in which we’ve invested over €3 million to enhance its functionality and the user experience. We now have a product that’s fit for our clients’ purpose for years to come.”
