Meet Cora’s new Team Members

Cora recently welcomed a host of new recruits to our Carrick on Shannon HQ.

They fulfil roles across all areas of the business and we wish them all the best with their careers here at Cora Systems. Now, without further a-do we introduce the latest members of the Cora Team:

Jane Reilly, Development Team Manager

Jane has almost 15 years hands on experience with the management, design and delivery of high quality software products and services in a wide range of domains from pure research, big data visualisation, financial services, telecoms, energy trading and now with project management.
Over the course of her career to date, Jane has facilitated and orchestrated process transformations in companies of varying sizes from small start ups through to multinationals. Jane is a bit of an endurance sport junkie, having completed a number of marathons, long distance road cycles, and is currently training to complete an open water swim.

Marek Kiejza, Software Developer

Originally from Poland Marek moved to Carrick on Shannon in 2006. He was always interested in working in the IT sector, and in 2016 began studying Software Development in IT Sligo. In his spare time he mentors in CoderDojo, where he help members fulfil their dreams from a young age.

Aoife Egan, Software Developer

Aoife will shortly be graduating from the BSc in Computing in Software Development at IT Sligo. In her spare time she enjoys running and is part of the Sligo and IT Sligo Athletics Clubs.

 

Stephen Brett, Quality Assurance Engineer

Stephen is from Sligo and previously worked in the consumer foods industry. He always had an interest in the IT Sector and in 2016 decided to return to college and study software development at IT Sligo. Stephen enjoys the challenges involved with software development and looks forward to working in the industry.

Rebecca McGlynn, Software Developer

Rebecca is originally from California and is studying Software Development at IT Sligo. In her spare time she enjoys hiking.

 

Conor Cox, Business Analyst

Conor graduated from University College Cork with a Masters in Information Systems for Business Performance (ISBP) in 2016. He then went on to work in the Accounts Department for the Prize Bond Company in Fexco for 12 months before travelling around America. In his spare time he plays Gaelic Football.

Emmet Grimes, Business Analyst

Emmet holds an Honours Degree in Software Engineering and joins Cora from the “continuous improvement Business Unit” of a multi-national manufacturing firm. In his spare time he plays Football.

Michaela Curwin, Office Administrator

Originally from Longford, Michaela looks after all of Cora’s Travel and Accommodation bookings in addition to carrying out a variety of admin tasks from reception duties to annual leave requests and more.
