Qualifications: Relevant third level degree in engineering or computer science discipline
Experience: 5+ years’ experience as a product manager, product owner, business analyst or similar roles for a software product
- Work with key stakeholders across the full sales life cycle to guarantee successful product releases. Communicate the product road map and long term vision for the product both internally and externally to insure that there is a shared understanding across stakeholders
- Work with the design and development teams to understand the business requirements breaking them down into epics and features for the creation of user stories with acceptance criteria for the design team to conceptualize and the development team to implement
- Manage and maintain the product backlog insuring that the prioritization of new features reflects the business needs. Work with Quality assurance to insure that the completed works meets the customer requirements at all times
- Partner with our customer success team in communications to customers around new feature releases
For this role communication is a key requirement the candidate should have strong communications skills both written and oral to allow them to prepare product backlog items and communicate this effectively to the teams.
The ability to manage multiple projects within competitive time frames within a fast changing landscape. The candidate should be a self-starter with the ability to work within a team environment. Ideally the candidate should have experience of Project Management and an accreditation in one of the project management methodologies would be a distinct advantage.
